Hybrid Identities
Join us for the inaugural TEDxLittleArmenia event — a day of talks, performances, and conversations exploring the many sides of who we are.
Event is free to attend, pending an approval.
About theme
The global Armenian experience has long been defined by hybridity — the ongoing negotiation between various geographies, histories, and cultural identities. This theme aims to capture the multi-dimensionality of the Armenian story across time and place, as embodied by extraordinary voices from different backgrounds and perspectives.
TEDxLittle Armenia will highlight the many intersections that can exist in a single person—and how these layers have multiplied across a dynamic population whose richness stems from its diversity.
The concept
Our logo explores Hybrid Identities by dividing the figure into four parts. The black quadrants feature fingerprint-like patterns, representing core identity, while the red quadrants reflect different roles and expressions of the same person.
Together, they show identity as layered and interconnected, made up of both rooted and evolving parts that form a complete whole.
